Open Call

PRIMARY is excited to announce our upcoming Open Call, offering €900,000 in funding to support innovative partnerships that will validate and scale sustainable agricultural solutions across Europe.

What are we looking for?

We’re seeking dynamic consortia of 2-3 partners who want to:

  • Validate PRIMARY’s proven business models for agricultural waste valorisation
  • Demonstrate the scalability of our innovative processes in new regions
  • Develop profitable value chains from underutilised agricultural feedstocks

Funding available

  • €150,000 maximum for 3-partner consortia
  • €100,000 maximum for 2-partner consortia
  • €60,000 maximum per individual partner

Who can apply?

Our Open Call will fund 6-9 groundbreaking sub-projects. We welcome applications from consortia that include:

  • At least one technical partner (capable of testing/applying/validating the technology/process)
  • At least one partner from either:
    • Public sector: universities, research institutions, public bodies
    • Private sector: primary producers, cooperatives, start-ups, SMEs, NGOs

Timeline

Call launch: March 2026
Project Implementation: November 2026 – April 2028
Duration: 1-18 months per sub-project
